Delete Your Account
Effective date: May 2026
If you'd like to delete your Help My Kid account and all associated data, follow these steps.
Option 1: From the app
Open Help My Kid, go to Settings, then tap Sign Out. This removes your local data. To fully delete your account and server data, contact us using the method below.
Option 2: By email
Send an email to support@helpmykid.app with the subject line "Delete My Account." Include the email address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in so we can locate your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile information
- All saved homework photos
- Your homework history and AI-generated explanations
- Your language and grade level preferences
- Your subscription will be cancelled (refund requests must go through Apple App Store or Google Play)
What we cannot delete
- Purchase records held by Apple or Google (managed by their respective platforms)
Timeline
Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when your data has been fully removed.
